The Maserati 3500GT was a favourite car of Prince Rainier III of Monaco, the tenor Giuseppe di Stefano, actors Tony Curtis and Rock Hudson, as well as gentleman racing driver Anthony Quinn. Now it can be yours!
Boutsen Classic Cars is delighted to be able to offer for sale a 1960 Maserati 3500GT Touring Superleggera, currently available for viewings at its showroom in Ventimiglia, Italy.
The Maserati 3500GT was the vehicle that established Maserati as a road car manufacturer. From 1957 to 1964 more than 2000 were produced following a successful cooperation between the engineer Giulio Alfieri and the Touring coachbuilder. The purpose of this cooperation was to build a car that would compete with Ferrari’s 250 GTS.
This 1960 Maserati 3500GT Touring Superleggera has covered 1,120km since restoration and was recently awarded two prizes at the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat Prestige: the distinguished FFVE and Grand Touring awards.
