A unique vehicle
Given the number of modifications and improvements made to the chassis, bodywork, mechanics and safety, we can well say that if the design largely takes up the lines of the mythical California.
The owner, being a great enthusiast, wanted to create a unique car from scratch, making important modifications allowing daily use while remaining in the spirit of a classic prancing horse car from the 60’s.
Work began in 2010, finished in 2015, 3000 hours of work.

CHASSIS MODIFICATIONS
Wheelbase increased by 25 cm– This structural modification brings several advantages in the balance of weight; this allows the folding soft top to disappear under the bodywork (between the passenger compartment and the rear trunk). The only example in the world. The chassis has been fully reinforced and stiffened on the anchors and the structure of the spars. A newly designed roll-bar with integrated headrest has been added to improve the rigidity of the vehicle.

BODYWORK
Spyder – completely dismantled of all components, sandblasted, preparation of all details to the highest level according to current criteria and reassembled by the Ferrari bodywork specialist known as FRANCO in Modena (Italy).

UPHOLSTERY/INTERIOR
Beige leather interior for the seats and black for the dashboard, the latter derived from the 330GTC. Black trim on door panel. Rigid folding aluminum soft top. Unique! Excellent quality carpet and rug.

ENGINE
The original 330 GT engine has been completely overhauled (new 0 km). It has undergone improvements to increase power and torque at all revs by optimization of the camshafts with an opening of 10mm (the racing version of the 330 engine) bringing the maximum power to 375hp. The new 46mm DCZ WEBER carburetor give the car flexibility, allowing better daily driving use. The position of the engine has been modified, it is now 10cm lower and 20cm further back to achieve a lower center of gravity, better steering by the reduction of the weight at the front of the vehicle. An additional fan has been added to improve the cooling system.

GEARBOX 5-speed manual + reverse: derived from the Ferrari 330 GTC/4 synchronized. Reinforced clutch of the new generation. The transmission has been modified to adapt to the new GTC/4 gearbox.

REAR AXLE and DIFFERENTIAL
Original 330 GT, best compromise between BV ratio and differential ratio.

BRAKES
Complete redesign, with new self-ventilating discs and BREMBO calipers. BONALDI brake booster and BREMBO master cylinder. New design pedal assembly to adapt to the new system.

STEERING
Non-powered, original 330GT.

SUSPENSION
The front and rear suspension has been completely modified by adopting specific height-adjustable VPS brand shock absorbers, (the VPS is an Italian brand located in Bergamo with a limited production of very high quality). VPS produces only on demand. At the rear VPS springs have been adopted. The modifications made to the suspensions are a real evolution beneficial for road holding in all conditions, improving the vehicle's behavior and road holding.

TANK
New design with greater capacity.

OTHER OPTIONS
Borrani wheels – wooden steering wheel – gradient blue tinted windscreen – air conditioning – electric windows and mirrors.

CONCLUSION
Unique vehicle, of very high quality, work carried out by masters of the Italian automobile. The vehicle has been configured from the outset with a focus on reliability, elegance, safety and uniqueness, while maintaining its safe everyday use. The finishes are impeccable, the materials used have been chosen with great care. The quality of the work carried out is unique and rare!
