For the release of the last James Bond film, 'No Time To Die,' back in 2021, Land Rover introduced the Defender V8 Bond Edition, commemorating the 38th anniversary of the partnership between the firm from Warwickshire and the iconic 007 franchise. This special edition Defender was launched in both the short-wheelbase 90 and the larger 110 formats.

Distinguishing features of the Bond Edition include the 'Extended Black Pack' with 22-inch Gloss Black wheels and ‘Xenon Blue’ front brake calipers. The vehicle also boasts exclusive elements such as a 'Defender 007' rear badge, '007' puddle lamps, and illuminated '007' treadplates.

To further set apart the V8 Bond Edition, SV Bespoke logos adorn the grab handle, and each vehicle in the 300-unit production run receives a unique 'One of 300' etching. The optional 11.4-inch touchscreen, available on the standard model, is included in this special edition.

Under the hood, the Defender V8 Bond Edition utilizes the same supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine as the regular Defender V8, delivering 525ps and 625 Nm of torque. This results in an unchanged 0-62mph time of 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 149 mph for the short-wheelbase 90 model. Boasting the Defender V8s unique suspension and transmission tuning, including bespoke spring and damper rates and a new Electronic Active Rear Differential, the model delivers more agile and engaging handling with heightened body control – all accompanied by a characteristic V8 supercharged soundtrack.

The car presents very well inside and out, bar a few very minor paint scratches due to normal usage. Inside the car is a perfect blend of luxury and practicality with beautiful black alcantara seats, the exclusive animation Pivi Pro touchscreen, multiple USB ports, a high-end Meridian Surround sound hi-fi system and tough materials all round to withstand the daily school runs or weekend whereabouts in the countryside with the family.

Due to its young age and low mileage, the car has not yet undergone a service. It has however received a brand new set of 5 Continental Cross Contact tyres (4 + spare wheel) after having suffered a puncture on one wheel, meaning all tyres had to be changed to preserve the transmission.
