Iconic British Sports Cars:
The Jaguar XK 140 is a stylish and high-performance sports car that built upon the success of the XK 120. Widely regarded as the most beautiful of all three series (XK 120, XK 140, XK 150), the XK 140 is a popular choice among vintage car enthusiasts. Produced from 1954 to 1957, the XK140 featured several improvements and updates over its predecessor from a chassis, mechanical and cabin standpoint.

Powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six engine, which produces 190 horsepower, the XK 140 also featured enhanced handling and comfort compared to the XK 120. It had improved suspension with telescopic shock absorbers and rack-and-pinion steering, making it more refined and enjoyable to drive.

Like the XK 120, the XK 140 was produced in limited numbers. Around 8,000 units were manufactured during its production run, making it a relatively rare and sought-after classic car today.

This example:
This immaculate XK 140 was first registered in 1955. It features a beautiful dark blue exterior on grey leather interior which were both restored 15 years ago.

The car was originally imported from the United States to Berlin (Germany), but is now registered in Monaco and has been owned by its current owner for the past 15 years. It comes with a detailed expert report by Jaguar expert, Henri Pluton.

As a left hand drive XK 140 drophead coupé, it represents only 10% of all produced left-hand drive XK 140 models. The Jaguar XK 140 features a beautiful classic British walnut dashboard and chrome. It comes with a modern Pioneer radio set, 3 point Luke seat belts (with inflatable side seat bolsters), a 4 speed gearbox with overdrive, front disc brakes, and a soft top (in very good condition). The car has recently passed its Contrôle technique in Monaco and is ready to be driven.
