2017 Lamborghini Gallardo R-EX GT3. Raced in Blancpain GT Sport Club series in 2017 and 2018 with one race in 2019. Meticulously prepared and maintained by BOUTSEN
The FIA GT3 touring car racing championship was created in 2005 to fit in below both the GT1 and GT2 series. It soon became the de facto international grand touring series. Today the majority of manufactures are represented on the grid.
Being a homologated racing series, GT3 cars receive a lot of attention as they visually share many aspects of their road going brethren. Competitors of this series have almost no limitations imposed on engines sizes, drivetrain configuration and chassis setup which makes for an amazing lineup.
Based on the evocative road going Lamborghini Gallardo this vehicle was extensively modified by racing firm Reiter Engineering GmbH to conform to GT3 regulations.
This blue Lamborghini R-EX GT3 raced in the Blancpain GT Sports Club Series from 2017 to 2018 and one race in 2019. In that time it has travelled a total distance of 6642km all whilst being meticulously prepared and maintained by BOUTSEN GINION RACING team. The car comes with two sets of rims and can be viewed at the Boutsen team’s workshop in Wavre, Belgium.
